All our adviceWhich model should I choose?
OX500: built-in regulator. OX1000: 1 L with harness and external regulator. OX2000: 2.3 L, up to 25 min of estimated air time, external pressure gauge included.
Compare the three modelsHow do I refill my tank?
The manual pump works with the OX500. The Mini Compressor offers 12 V battery power with alligator clips or AC power with a compatible supply: about 12 min for OX500 and 20 min for OX1000. The more powerful Power Compressor runs on AC only: about 5 min for OX500, 12 min for OX1000, and 20 to 25 min for OX2000. Times are estimates. US AC input voltage, frequency, and plug remain to be confirmed. Use a suitable power supply and breathing-air source, and follow the manual.
Do I need training?
No. OXSEA tanks are designed to be accessible to everyone, with no training required. You do need to take care of your gear: read your model’s user manual, check your equipment before every dive and maintain it after each use.
Safety precautionsIs diving near the surface risk-free?
No. Even in shallow water, air breathed under pressure expands as you ascend: holding your breath can cause serious injury. Breathe continuously, especially while ascending. Stay within the limits of your user manual and the conditions of the dive.
Understand underwater precautionsHow do I know how much air I have left?
The pressure gauge shows the remaining pressure. Check it regularly: stated air times are estimates, because breathing, exertion and depth affect consumption. Plan your return and the reserve you need before entering the water. Never wait until you are low on air or the stated time is up to ascend.
Manage my air reserveCan I use my mini dive tank alone?
No. Always dive with a buddy. Plan the dive, signals and assistance together. A compact tank does not replace a buddy who can help; someone watching from the beach is not enough.
Prepare for my diveWhat should I do if my equipment leaks or is damaged?
Stop using and refilling the equipment. A leak, an impact or visible corrosion requires an inspection before it is used again. Never tighten or dismantle a fitting while pressurized. Contact our support team with your model and details of what happened for guidance on the appropriate next steps.
