Connect the Mini Compressor to a 12 V battery with its alligator clips. Refill on board even without an AC outlet, following the manual.

Plan for dockside refilling, too.

The US Mini Compressor is a 12 V DC unit. The input voltage, frequency, and plug of any AC power supply still need to be confirmed for your version.

What to know before bringing it aboard.

OX500 or OX1000 for my boat?

Choose OX500 for compact storage and occasional checks: 0.5 L, built-in regulator, and up to 8 minutes of estimated air time. Choose OX1000 for more regular maintenance: 1 L, back harness, external regulator, and up to 15 minutes of estimated air time. Both packs shown here include the Mini Compressor.

Can I clean my entire hull?

OXSEA provides air for occasional maintenance of accessible areas. Air time depends on breathing, depth, and exertion: one tank does not guarantee a complete hull clean. Use a tool suited to your hull coating and follow local rules. Haul-out maintenance and major repairs remain separate jobs.

Can I refill using my boat battery?

Yes. The Mini Compressor in the OX500 and OX1000 packs connects to a 12 V battery with its alligator clips. It can also run on AC with a compatible power supply; US input voltage, frequency, and plug remain to be confirmed. Check the connections in the manual. The Power in the OX2000 pack runs on AC only, with no 12 V battery connection.

Which compressor refills faster?

The Power is more powerful: allow about 5 min for OX500 and 12 min for OX1000, compared with 12 and 20 min with the Mini Compressor. It also refills OX2000 in about 20 to 25 min. The Power requires an AC outlet; the Mini Compressor gives you a choice of AC with a compatible supply or a 12 V battery with alligator clips. US AC specifications remain to be confirmed. Times are estimates, per tank.

Does the compressor stay connected to me underwater?

No. The compressor fills the tank before you enter the water and stays dry. Underwater, you breathe the air stored in your tank. No refill hose connects you to the boat.

What should I prepare before going below the boat?

Secure the boat, shut off the engine, and prevent it from restarting. Plan your immersion with a buddy in suitable conditions. Follow the manual, monitor your air supply, and breathe continuously without holding your breath.
